How to send pictures with thread
This is a new thread separate from my thread(s) on my radio problems. While reviewing my radio situation one fellow was good enough to send me a pictorial of the wiring schematic. It occured to me that was a good thing to be able to do.
I graduated from college in 1961 with a BS in Physics and another in Mechanical Engineering. Subsequently got my masters in Aerospace in 1964. During all that time all I ever needed was a slide rule. Us aerospace people like to brag that we put men on the moon using just sliderules. I did learn a minimum of PC stuff and am somewhat familiar with the usual Microsoft stuff (although I probably am more guilty of the "garbage in - garbage out" syndrome than most of you much younger folks.
I can scan stuff pretty well and get stuff into the "pictures area" so, now, here's the question:
How do I attach stuff to the thread?
Thanks
Barney

Barney,
Greetings. If you post in the Quick Reply box you will have click the Go Advanced button. First press Manage Attachments. Then press Choose File - you will then select the image from somewhere on your computer. Then press Upload and it will bring it to your posting. You can press Preview Post before committing to posting it. Note the image files have size restrictions - there is a list. You can edit/crop your images to save on size.
Try some test runs. You don't have to post it. You can just preview it for practice.

Click "go advanced" on the botom of thetet area. Than click the paperclip. A menu appears where you can choose the pictures from your harddrive to upload. In this menu you can see the limits of the pictures you can upload.
It doesn't work from my ipad and pictures taken with my Iphone always get the message that it isn't the right type of file so they won't upload either.

I've been posting pics for almost two years ... that is up until 3 months ago. Now I get a message that says "upload failed" It was at the same time that I didn't see pics in posts but little icons that I had to click on to open the picture. I'm still considered an addict and I'm paid up through May 14. Any ideas?

After seeing all that ice and snow that Malcolm posted, I just couldn't resist.

Just wanted to add that, within another a week or two, the Snowy Range Mountain Pass will be opening here in Wyoming for another season (elevation of pass is 11,000 feet, Snowy Range is 12,000). I can't imagine a more spectacular backdrop for my shark except possibly the Malcolm picture.
