The OPTIMA Film Fest Is Your Chance to Get on MAVTV

High-quality automotive video can be hard to come by, so anything that’s helping to promote and expand its creation is a plus. That’s why it’s great news that OPTIMA, the battery company known for its involvement in high-performance racing, is continuing their Utlimate Film Festival after a successful first year.

“Performance enthusiasts across the country are creatively pushing the limit, all while their cameras are rolling, and we’re excited to be a catalyst for people to come and experience these incredible films,” Cam Douglass, director of marketing for OPTIMA Batteries, said. “We know fans are hungry to connect with the industry’s action and passion, and we remain committed to bringing this content to them in a variety of ways.”

The official time period for entering your films started March 11 and runs through May 20. The first regional event will be held at Formula Drift in New Jersey on June 17. The second entry period is May 21 to July 22. Those films will be judged at the Woodward Dream Cruise on August 19. One film will be chosen from each of those two regionals and both will be shown at the finals at SEMA on November 2. The winner will be featured on MAVTV.
