Rennsport Reunion VI Announced For September 2018

Porsche has announced Rennsport Reunion VI is going ahead, and will be held at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca In September next year.

Open your Calendar and block out September 27-30, 2018. Rennsport Reunion VI is set in stone and returning to the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca circuit.

“Choosing the Monterey Peninsula once again for our unique Porsche family reunion builds upon what we learned from previous Rennsport Reunions. We had close to 60,000 fans, enthusiasts and owners come through the gates of Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca to celebrate with us in 2015, and California’s picturesque central coast provides an ideal backdrop. The Golden State as a whole has always been like a second home to Porsche.”

Klaus Zellmer, President, and CEO of Porsche Cars North America.

Rennsport Reunion VI
The first three Rennsport Reunion events were held on the eastern side of the U.S before coming west in 2011. For 2015’s Rennsport Reunion V  over 1,300 Porsche Club of America member owned cars packed out Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca to the point of overflow. Porsche Club of America will play a large role again for 2018’s event. Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, understandably, is more than happy to host another reunion:

“We are honored to have been selected once again as the host circuit for Porsche Rennsport Reunion. This prestigious event has created a tremendous impact on motorsports around the world in the past and we are eager to bring it back to life again in partnership with Porsche. It is truly the most rewarding event I have ever had the pleasure of being involved in.”

Gill Campbell of Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.

More details and ticket information will be published on both the Porsche press website and Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca’s website. Keep an eye out here on Rennlist.com as well for a preview and post event coverage after the weekend itself.
