Ultimate performance EV Porsche struts its stuff as it sprints to a Guinness World Record of 102.6 MPH indoors.

Many of you may not be surprised to see Porsche strive for greatness. The German luxury brand has established itself as constantly being an industry leader, regardless of the overall tread of the market. They just know how to adapt to the given circumstances and make the best possible product regardless.

Porsche’s latest flex comes via their EV giant, the Taycan, breaking a Guinness World Record. Supposedly, the Taycan Turbo S is the fastest car in the world. That is a lofty title with multi-million dollar hypercars in existence. So what’s the big deal then? Well, Porsche definitely had a spin on this one: the fastest car in the world, indoors.

Indoors? Yes. Indoors. Porsche recently has been a bit obsessed with breaking every single possible performance records established by EVs. They set the fastest EV Nurburgring lap time, longest continuous drift, fastest Road Atlanta lap time, and now this.

I think you might be getting the message Porsche is trying to send. They are very good at doing things they set out to, even something as revolutionary for the brand as an all-electric vehicle.

So how exactly did they do it? Well, racing driver Leh Keen suited up in a Taycan Turbo S, ready to launch all 750 HP at a whim’s notice. As many of you know, the Turbo S variant makes a dash to 60 mph in about 2.4 seconds.

This healthily puts the EV into top 10 accelerating cars of all-time easily, only facing serious competition by other Porsche vehicles. Notice the trend?
