A Stunning Green 911 GT3 RS Cuts Through Zürich’s Night
Take five minutes out of your day to watch this 911 GT3 RS light up the night.
Sometimes we will share videos of custom Porsche builds. Other times we will share a video of a classic Porsche being restored. Or a Porsche being raced or repaired. But this video recently posted on the Niterun YouTube channel is none of those things. The cynic will say that it is just a video of a 911 driving around at night. And factually speaking, that is correct. But this is not just a video. It is cinema. And this is not just a 911. It is a 911 GT3 RS. And this is not just any town. It is Zürich, Switzerland.
This is an interesting time of year. We say goodbye to 2025 and hello to 2026. It is a time of year that people are just starting to ease back into the routine. So, we thought this would be the perfect time to share a video like this.
There is no controversy, nothing to think about, no opinions being shared or comparisons being made. All you have to do is set aside five minutes of your time and watch (and listen to) this lovely 911 GT3 RS carve up the night in this historically beautiful town.
Green With Envy
If green is your thing, this video is for you. The main star of the show is an Olive Green-ish 911 GT3 RS. However, it is also joined by a neon Green 911 GT3 RS. The highlight of the green car pairing comes when they both blast through a Zürich tunnel where we get to hear the sonorous flat six engine reverberate off the walls.
Although at no point are the cars going at breakneck speeds. Switzerland is not a country where you want to get caught speeding. And these two cars do not exactly blend in to the night.
Pure Cinema
This video to put together in a way that makes you feel like you are watching a well-produced film and not a simple YouTube video. Each shot is wonderfully choreographed to show off the lines and the sounds of the 911 GT3 RS. The video being shot at night with the lights of the car and the lights of the city taking center stage only adds to the drama.
I often complain about the GT3 RS being used more as a cars and coffee flex than a car people actually drive hard on a racetrack. But even I must admit, this car simply looks incredible, so go ahead flex away. Especially at night in Zürich.
The Details
As the video continues, little details of the GT3 RS are featured. The custom illuminated doorsill plates and yellow stitching highlight the interior. On the outside are a set of custom Titan Forged wheels. It all comes together nicely. Enjoy the video and have a Happy New Year!
