2020 Porsche 911 Turbo 992 Pictures Leaked Online
Are we looking at the next generation 911 Turbo? We hope so, because it looks damn fine.Â
Sometimes, social media can be a beautiful thing. Case in point: Pictures were recently leaked on Instagram that appear to to show the eighth-generation Porsche 911 Turbo 992.  We hadn’t expected to see the 992 Turbo until its official debut later this year. But here it is, camo-free and looking good!
The images were posted from the Instagram account of Todd Schleicher. Schleicher is a Porsche owner, enthusiast, and (maybe) hero. The 992-gen Porsche pictures look as though they were snapped on the factory floor in Zuffenhausen, Germany. Schleicher posted them with the caption “What do we have here 992 Turbo.”
Now, we don’t have a lot of information, but we can see that this 911 Turbo is clearly a little more aggressive, but still maintains the iconic Porsche Turbo essence. The refreshed 3.8-liter twin-turbo six-cylinder engine will likely see some gains in horsepower. And a new eight-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic transmission is expected to deliver some immediacy and extra responsiveness.
Overall, it is looking like the 2020 911 Turbo is shaping up to be a bonafide badass. So when will Porsche officially unleash this beast? Most likely we will see it at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show International Motor Show Germany in Frankfurt in March, or the this September. Stay tuned!
