Fellas - I just spoke to the owner; since spring is now here in the northeast (finally!) and driving season is just around the corner, she asked me to lower the sale price. Asking price is now $59,500.

We currently have both a Cayman R and GT4. The GT4 was intended to replace the R, with the expectation that it would be better in just about every way, but we've been unable to let the R go.
I agree with the comments above. While the GT4 is outstanding, the R has better combination of gearing and torque curve for the road, better steering feel, and feels smaller and lighter, more like a go-kart.

I agree with Manifold 111%, nicely stated. I did have a Cayman s before my Cayman r and I did not perceive the ride any harsher only more connected. I would not buy another cayman unless I could get the X73 suspension....love it

ACF, I don't use my CR as a daily driver (weekend Southeast WI country road driver, mainly) but I don't see why it could not be used as a daily driver. It would make a better DD than my 993, IMHO.
