I ran this car with many of CA PCA guys and had a lot of fun chasing my friends. I have never raced this in wheel to wheel and built this for just HPDE events but wanted to have a safe and fun/reliable car that I can learn how to drive. Prior to this car, I started with 997.2 GT3 and it was a very difficult car for someone who didnt have a lot of experience. So I decided to build a full blown E46 M3 race car which is much easier to drive due to neutral chassis balance. Time to move on different car for different experience.
ONE of the fastest, cleanliest and professionally built/maintained E46 M3 race car – $90k+ to replicate
Bought best race parts and always refreshed items and pre and post track inspection with meticulous care.
Car located and stored in SoCal - I have title in hand and registered as Non OP in state of CA.
• 342 RWHP/ 273 Torque – Dyno Sheet available – can be detuned or add weight for diff class requirement - GTS 3/4 or keep it as a super fun HPDE car.
• Weight: 2650lb with FULL 16 gallon fuel WO driver
• Donor car had 144k miles – Brand New S54 motor from dealer at 61k chassis miles (Due to Rod bearing) – VIN number will show that in BMW dealer system. 94k on motor when car got converted to full blown race car. Previous owner (CA car) changed oil every 3500 miles and he was the only owner since purchased. He gave me 12 years of service documentations. I am the second owner and did about 25 days of HPDE.
• VERY clean engine internals
• Valve adjustments, Full VANOS rebuilt/refreshed , Rod bearings done
• Originally was SMG transmission – converted to 5 speed
• Primarily used for HPDE but it is race legal in specs in most recognized sanction (NASA/SCCA GTS3/4) ZERO accident. Original Frame. Original Paint.
• Meticulously and professionally built/maintained at race shop. This is not a home garage project. GSR and Trinity Autosport in Anaheim, CA (changed name but same place) built and maintained.
• Any wear and tear parts were replaced to ensure full functionality of the car and if any part needed to be replaced, it was replaced without hesitation for safety and performance of the car.
• Very reliable and fun and FAST car.
• Some track times (I am not the best and most talented driver – put this car in hands of a pro, it will probably be one of the fastest cars for its weight/hp)
• Car is READY to be enjoyed immediately

C&R Alum radiator w 16inch SPAL electric fan – all hoses replaced
Setrab custom oil cooler with Kevlar lines
BW CF Brake duct intake and hoses
Secondary Fuel pump to prevent fuel starvation

Mounted tires are BFG R1-S 275/25/18 (two sets with 12 HC)
Historically, I ran 26 HC with very little drop off in performance.
I have gutted OEM doors and trunk in storage as well.
This car is very economical to run, very reliable and easier to drive near limit fast!
Some track times: I have far less experience than some of you at the track. But these are some of the times I clocked. Im sure in the hands of better driver, lower times can be seen.
