ah. hadn't heard of any PTS 997.1 RSs, so was actually curious to see if someone got one in a different shade of orange.

same car with same miles was $95k in 2010.... My how these things have appreciated.

Still, buying one of these pumpkins for the first time and driving it home is priceless.
One of the best experiences I have had to date.

For real- I paid $95k for my pumpkin with 14k miles on it in November 2013. Spent more than I wanted to but in hindsight I feel pretty wise.

I showed this thread to my father over the weekend and he asked if I have ever been tempted to sell in this crazy market. The answer is no...I like making money but there is literally nothing else that I would want.

GLWS- looks like a great car!

Ha! Thanks Mooty, I believe it was James Taylor. That would be more age appropriate..

I'm guessing that there are plenty of closet Taylor fans...maybe even some driving around in pumpkins!

These are just awesome cars. The thought of turning mine stock and selling or turning it into a canyon carver has crossed my mind, But dammit they are just so intoxicating on track. Got mine early 2013... @23k miles (40 now, OMG its dead, worth 50k!), for well, less than you guys are listing... prices were a bit different then. :-)

GLWS - this is a cherry car if it's the one I think it is!

You should do what I did....buy a Cayman S and built it into a full blown track car.
