Default 1989 Porsche 911 Speedster 13K miles!

Mileage (numbers only please): 13749
Color: White
VIN: WP0EB0914KS173345
Price (no $ sign please): $229000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (Region): NorthEast
Body Style: Cabriolet
Transmission Type: Manual - 5 speed
2 or 4 Wheel Drive?: 2 Wheel Drive
Engine Type: Fuel Injection
Stereo System: AM-FM Cassette

I am helping a friend sell his 1989 Speedster and it is being offered here on
Rennlist first, in the hope that this car will go to a fellow enthusiast.

The car was purchased from the original owner in August, 1997 with 8,934 miles and currently sits at 13,794 miles.

Since his ownership the car has been driven 200-500 miles/year.

The factory options include the Grand Prix white Fuchs wheels and Sport seats.

The original owner did a MOMO upgrade of the steering wheel and shifter ****. The original Steering wheel and Shifter **** are included with the sale.

The original window sticker is framed and included.

The gauges are tilted in a racing configuration for looks as pictured and can
easily be turned back.

There are no dents, door dings or any marks on the car other than a small stone chip on the front bumper and a tiny scratch on the fiberglass tonneau cover.

There is a TINY mark on the inside of the left rear wheel and a scratch on the
right rear wheel.

The canvas top was fraying in a couple of spots so it was replaced last summer
with the German OEM material.

Hood and trunk shocks were recently replaced.

New Bridgestone RE 11's (front 205/55/R16 and rear 245/45R16) just installed.

You will be hard pressed to find another Speedster as near perfect as this one!

CARFAX report available.

Pre Purchase Inspections are encouraged and we have a Porsche dealer 20 minutes away (Rochester, NY).

Please send me a PM with interest.

Asking $229,000

Funny; I paid $39k for mine about 13 years ago. Actually traded a Volvo wagon (dealer valued at $19k plus $20k cash). Included r/t delivery from NC to NJ by the Porsche dealer to drop off the Speedster and pick up the Volvo. Drove it 2-3 years and sold it for $42k...to an A-hole in CA who nitpicked me 3 months after the sale due to a slightly askew odometer digit. God I hope he sold it soon thereafter. It was red and had +/- 30,000 miles at the time.

I understand rotating the tach to make the redline straight up....for glancing at speed but why would one rotate the speedo? Just curious.
