thanks for the responses..... the value of the engine maybe closer to 20-25K....yes I understand. But the expense of swapping engines or selling a roller is unknown. I spent half the year looking for a 964 engine in 2014. I ended up purchasing a donor car and selling the roller. That would be the better option here as well. This is a very fresh and strong engine, you will not be disappointed. Most Porsche owners that track cars have no knowledge of this level of this chassis build, few will every drive a pro built frame plate car of this detail. Why was a 2.0 engine used.... don't know for sure, but it might have been a requirement for running in vintage races at that time.
