Excellent condition, with a few chips from 2 HPDE days and comprehensive maintenance records. Runs extremely strong, recent leakdown number are excellent 4-5%, and meticoulously kept. No accidents and religiously maintained by top notch air-cooled mechanics. High Performance House in CA and Taylor Chapman in Virginia. Under my care the car was maintained by Aase Motors.
History:
I purchased this car from Tony.CO
Tony purchased the car from RJT (RL members), linked here with great pictures and additional information:

RJT purchased the car from a Pelican member E30m3.
The owner who did the RS Tribute, is a Porsche enthusiast, writer for several websites and magazines.
He wrote an short article on his thoughts and posted here: (helpful in understanding history of the car)

Since my ownership:
I purchased the car from Tony and had it shipped from Colorado to California. From there the car has always been garage kept. The car needs nothing, but I did a few mods: GT2 upright/tie rods, RS door cards and Porsche cup steering wheel.
The car has a Jeykll/Hide personality. Its ready for the track, more than capable with all of the RS performance parts and updating. But its also a gorgeous car to admire at the local CnC and Porsche get togethers. I've taken the car to Buttonwillow twice and both times it was exceptional. Perfect car to take to and from the track.
Summary:
Please contact me with any questions. PPI are welcome. I can send you my PPI report I used and the leakdown numbers.
You email me at eschang319@gmail.com for any additional info and/or pics.
Thanks!
Eric

I have added a few crappy cell phone pics of the interior, sorry for the bad quality. One thing to note, the car has Recaro PP's at the moment, but will be swapped back for the Cobra Misanos mentioned in the ad.

I actually read and re-read your thread regarding the GT3. Very informative stuff and really weighed into my decision making process, but there seemed to be a consensus that if you weren't going to track then keep the 993. I tracked the 993 and it's great, but I really want to get out there more often and I think a GT3 would be quite the blast.

I understand the draw to a faster, more intense ride. I track my GT3. FYI, it makes the 993 looks like a bargain with upkeep and normal wear parts. The balance of a well set up 993 is wonderful. The 993 was still my favorite, but it is slower by several seconds at Mid Ohio.

First, the purdy, perfect stablemate to my Speed Yellow track rat.
Now, I know this is a For Sale thread......but........
Out here (Thunderhill 3.0 miler/Sears/Laguna/Buttonwillow/Willow), if I'm more than 1 sec/min of lap time slower in my faux RS v. a 996 GT3 that's not a Cup replica I'll quit driving. (Bottom line Thunderhill 3.0 is ~1:58 v. ~1:56 on new Hoosiers. And it's almost an identical data overlay, cornering-wise.)
