I am asking $44,800 for this Artic Silver (L92U) 1997 911 with 45,356 miles. I am the third owner and I have all service records since new.
Excellent paint and interior. The car is washed and waxed regularly. The interior leather is also cleaned and conditioned on a regular schedule.
Motor has been completely rebuilt by a master Porsche mechanic. This was a full top and bottom end rebuild. I have the build sheet showing detailed rebuild. Head studs and rod bolts were also upgraded with ARP4206 and ARP6005 to handle higher sustained revolutions. Racing timing chains utilized for increased strength for sport and racing applications.
Transaxle was upgraded with Porsche Motor Sport steel synchros on gears 2-3-4-5.
Rebuilt Porsche Motor Sport limited slip differential.
Clutch was converted to Porsche RS clutch with new light weight flywheel, pressure plate, clutch disc, and throw out bearing.
Bilstein HD coil over shocks with H&R progressive springs. Ride height set to 130MM front and 121MM rear.
Additional oil cooler was added to keep temperatures from getting too high.
Steering rack rebuilt with all new seals.
The car features clear front turn signal lenses and front bumperettes deleted. The rear bumperettes are finished and painted to match the body color.
The car was ordered with the following desirable options:
Head restraints with Porsche crest
X54 Stainless steel exhaust pipes
X70 Door sills in steel with model insignia
X71 Aluminum Painted Instrument dials
X97 Aluminum/leather shift ****
X98 Aluminum/leather parking brake handle
220 Locking differential
224 Active Brake Differential
New battery - August 2013
Alternator rebuilt - Oct 2013 (new bearings, new regulator)
New brake pads - June 2014
The car has had repair done to the lower panel right above the jack point on the driver side in front of the rear wheel. You will see this on Carfax on 9/9/13. I have the papers from the body shop detailing the panel repair from the jack.
The car is Maryland vehicle emissions compliant which dictates no ODBII engine codes are present to be emissions legal.
Buy this car to enjoy the drive and not deal with SAI or related valve guide issues. With a new engine, clutch, and strengthened transaxle, this car will bring you lots of driving enjoyment while you receive admiring looks.
