My father passed away recently. He caught the Porsche bug from me. After owning scores of cool cars, a '64 Karmann Ghia, '70 Chevelle SS, '89 Miata (brand new!), and '93 Rx7 R1, he drove my first Boxster and was blown away. He's since bought a 987 Boxster S and then this car, his absolute dream, a 991 Carrera S with all the toys. He was a retired engineer, and maintained all of his vehicles impeccably.
I had planned to wait until spring to sell, but found out that the homeowner's insurance will not protect the car even though it's in the garage and covered, and it is doubling my current insurance costs to cover this car on my policy, so I have to sell quickly.
The car is absolutely perfect. The OEM tires are in very good shape and there are no scratches at all on wheels, body, or interior. Car has never been on the track (although he planned to do it in the spring...) and the miles are pretty much all from driving to his radiation / chemo appointments 90 miles away for the past 5 months. The car has a custom clear bra installed that covers around 50% of the paint, and an Escort 9500Ci integrated radar system.
It has nearly every option except PCCBs -- Sport Chrono, PDK, PASM, PDLS, ParkAssist, PTV, PDCC, PSE w/ Sport tailpipes, 20" Carrera Classic wheels with painted crests, power folding mirrors, Panoramic sunroof, embossed heated/cooled 14 way seats, etc.
The title is clear and without lien. I'll have to find the original window sticker, but I believe it was 127k. The car is located in Tennessee, but I am not. I will make arrangements to show / deliver the car to serious buyers.
****PRICE BUMP -- reduced to $98k*****

Send a PM to Rennlister Buddhamonk. He is looking to purchase a 991 ASAP. Good luck.

Actually, I bought my current P-car, an '08 Boxster S, from him when we got the 911, so either way I'd be driving one of his former rides. I actually prefer the Boxster. It's not quite the spaceship that a 991 is, but it's a fun toy that you can pack full of stuff (two trunks) for a long weekend. Plus, the top goes down and it's great for AutoX.
My Dad and I discussed what would happen to the car and this is what we decided.

I might add: the car has NEVER been washed / dried with a terrycloth towel.
I learned that this will produce microscratches and every time I washed and waxed the car for my Dad (did this every time I went home while he's been sick), I used HP water to clean, dried with air compressor, then wiped down with microfiber and waterless wash. Waxed with liquid techwax and only buffed with microfiber.

I am sorry for your loss. Sounds like you and your Dad had a very special relationship and that Porsche was a part of it.
Love the car, the color and the options. I know it will sell quickly and bring lots of good times o it's new owner. GLWS and best to you and your family.
