I'm glad I changed my order to a TT - if I had stuck with the loaded 991.2 C2S I'd have been green with envy and cursed myself for impatience at this point! Also would have lost a fair bit of money as a lot of the cosmetic and performance options I wanted look like they'll be included on the GTS and therefore cheaper.

I like the Targa variant - closest thing to a Targa TT available.

The C&D article noted that the additional 30hp was due to larger turbochargers but no note of how any potential additional lag has been addressed. From reviews comparing the .2 base vs. S, the lag was seemingly greater in the S due to more boost relative to the natural power of the 3.0 motor. So I wonder whether this will be more pronounced in the GTS.

New alcantara seats will also be standard for .2 GT3. The torque begins at 2150 instead of 1750 for the GTS so it is a matter of getting behind the wheel of both and side by side comparison.

What sells cars to the masses are stats.

HP
0-60
Torque

Subjective things like sound, high revs, character, aren't as appreciated as much.

Some lag is inherent to Turbos. Won't be an issue.

I am one who got a 991.2 C2s with all the performance/handling goodies. But I got my car last May and have been enjoying it ever since. The GTS is great and if buying now I would probably go for that, but plan to stick with my car. I can live with 30 less hp. Does the GTS come stock with ceramic brakes. Passed on those on my car since no plans to track it regularly.
