Default Help with Overrev report

Hi Folks, Looking to move from a C2S 997.2 PDK to a GTS stick. Got a overrev report back from the dealer. Would love to get help interpreting it. From my simple (and perhaps wrong) understanding -

Range 1 a total of 2866 / 350 = ~8 secs
Range 2 a total of 97/350 = insignificant (?)

Looks like the last range 1 was just 1 hr back...(joy ride?)

thanks

Ranges 1,2 (even 3 under the right conditions say some) show rev limiter was doing it's job. I would be suspicious if a GTS was not driven 'joyously' for part of it's life. Not a problem as any search of overrev ranges would have indicated.

About 46,000 miles??

Report looks good.

Tell them to stop giving joy rides to potential buyers.

That's a very tame report ... no worries.

Does a PDK even allow 3+ range overrevs? I thought I read that it wouldn't allow those.

FYI GTS can get range 1 without redline. Engine gets a 200 rpm bump up from CS but RPM ranges stay the same for DME. Range 2 is right at fuel cutoff. This report is crystal.

The 997.2 and 997.2 S standard engines both have a redline of 7500 RPM. Does anyone know if Range 1 over-revs are registered at 7300 RPM or 7500 RPM on the 997.2 ?

Yes, 997.2 Carrera DME report starts logging at 7300 - 7500 (range 1)
