Thanks for the input AC and Sleepy! I know that Christmas-time isn't really optimal timing to sell something like this with so many people traveling- but interest has been solid! All PM's and texts returned....

Please post details of recent $10K service and any records for scheduled major services either mileage or time based. At the bottom of the DME report should be the total engine operating hours, please post. Any undercarriage photos? Any type of body or paint work done? Agree with others that it would be good to take care of the noted minor issues. Beautiful car.

Wow, just a great build.
I agree with others that if the car were cosmetically flawless and OEM spec (the stickers, which I would remove too) it might be easier to sell, at least here.

Just FYI.....I know of 3 997.1 RS that have sold at 140-145k this week with less than a 1/4 of mileage and in perfect condition not needing a thing. For many "no expense spared" would describe replacing any worn or defective items and the thing flawless including interior. I think the asking might be a bit ambitious at this condition and mileage. Have coolant fittings been pinned? I didn't see a answer about paint work? Why was a PPI done at end of November? Had he just bought it?
*It's not my car but I'm recommending that my uncle repair the interior
*Nowhere in the ad does it say $150k firm
*Will inquire about the coolant fittings
*No knowledge of any paint work but will inquire
*PPI was done at end of November preemptively per my recommendation so it would be available for any interested parties to review
*He's owned the car for 5 or 6 years IIRC.

As far as 3 changing hands for less money with less mileage this week... are you talking about the wholesale market? I've never seen more than 10 of these for sale in the country at any one time in recent memory. 3 selling in the dead of winter in the same week? I guess I'd need to see it to believe it.

Nice car.
The white looks good without the RS decals IMO.
GLWTS
Sure seem to be a bunch of picky comments from people who are most likely not serious buyers.
Must be the winter weather.
If I were a potential buyer, I'd ask "probing" questions on the phone, not via this public forum.

Clean the steering wheel, no reason to replace. Looks like it's never been maintained. Soap and water goes a long way on alcantara.

This is IMHO yet another unsolicited, gratuitous post that is unfortunate in a FS
posting. If you feel compelled to advise the OP, maybe you should send him a PM.
