So this is why vinanalytics.com stopped working, too. How does PCNA or anyone else lose by providing universal access to the Porsche VIN decoder/analyzer? Seems like a win/win across the board. Many dealer websites and listings don't provide the sticker info about the car. Who benefits from less transparency and less info about a potential transaction?

They control the info, although do provide build sheets on their website for P dealer cars.
They don't want indy dealers benefitting from their info, and don't want these "buyers concierge" websites compiling build info, VIN databases, and production #'s.
If used like it was in the past to help the average buyer, it's not an issue. Once these online fly by night "dealers" jumped on the bandwagon, too many red flags raised.

Maybe they will finally fix their own website then. It's not exactly user friendly, and feels a lot like a real estate agent that leaves the for sale sign in the yard to collect leads long after a contract is in hand. Most of the cars I have called about were already sold.
Props to catpat8000 for pointing out a bug where PCAR FINDER wasn't properly flagging some dealership listings as "Previous" when they were no longer active. This has since been fixed, so if you're finding listings on PCAR FINDER that are "dead," please PM me and it will be fixed as long as it's not one that happened to be taken down in between queries of that dealership's site.

Exactly, until everyone who thinks they're a car broker thought they'd be able to OutPorsche Porsche.

Update: Just rolled out a new buildsheet format on PCAR FINDER and PCAR BUILDSHEET that includes Model Number, count of current and previous listings, and the PCAR ID/link.
Hope you like it!
While buildsheets won't be available for every VIN, there are thousands here so you might get lucky.

Thanks!
What would you like to see added next? I'm thinking of adding a comment section to each vehicle...imagining that previous owners or visitors with first-hand info to contribute on a vehicle could do so for others.
