He seemed to be able to close the distance at will.

Which means either the subject car was lifting or braking early or the chase/camera car had much more HP.

I must have watched at least 5 laps of that vid. Gotta love those tire roasting power slides they were doing at will.

I'd say for sure it was another RS behind. The guy in front was definitely braking sympathetically for the film car but when they were on any short straight the cars looked evenly matched. On the long straight the chase car started to reel him in but that was probably due to higher exit speed from the preceding corner. The car looks so easy to drive and lots of fun, just need to find a lazy $300k plus downunder to have one in the garage.

I was there during the filming. I was actually inside the camera car!!! It was a stock 951S !!!
