Gold Coast Region PCA is doing a drive and stone-crab lunch to Everglades City, with optional stayover in Naples, in Nov, but I believe by now it may be sold out (small restaurant). They do it every year though.

Everglades City is a fun drive via Tamiami Trail. We used to do this via DCI - less hoops than PCA

I'd be up for a drive in November if we could get a few other cars to go

Whats it like? Do you have to be PCA member? What time?

As far as I know, anyone can attend. You would need to be a PCA member and have already registered in order to show a car, however. The hours are 10-3, and there is apparently valet parking available at the Mandarin Oriental hotel. I used to live on the island, and there is a great store with excellent sandwiches and other foods if you don't want to eat the lunch that is at the event. It is in the middle of the island, a short walk from the grass behind the Mandarin Oriental where the cars will be on display.

Bikers Bash this weekend at Markham Park, no, not a Porsche thing I know, but a hoot all the same. Sunday at Markham. Come check out the biker babes and buy a can Koozie from the Outlaws MC. I'll be on the black Harley. (Humor alert: 99 percent of all Harleys seem to be black....)

SupercarSaturday at Lamborghini of west Broward on the 10th. Lots of witsec guys looking at two pedal cars the colors of skittles.
