Picture posting limited to GIFs..
For some reason - at least in the Cayenne forum - it only allows posting pics in GIF (Compuserve - yetch) format. Won't take JPGs, or PNGs.. something wrong here.

This is what I see if I click on the upload button in the editor.
This is the result of trying to upload a JPG. These two images had to be saved as PNG's in order to upload them. This is the only Vbulletin forum I use that has this problem.

It will let me upload it as a GIF.
These were all done using "EDGE" browser from MS. I'm next going to try Google Chrome.
JPG does upload using Google Chrome.. so it seems browser related.

^^^ yeah, it's been doing that for over a year for me - I gave up trying to get it fixed so just use the workaround in post 2.

The reason I don't use external links is I've seen too many good useful threads that are then made useless when the user changes cloud based photo storage vendors, or simply goes and deletes the photos. By hosting them on the forum server - they stay intact.
Perhaps the administrator here can check the settings for upload permissions?

I don't have a clue what the issue is, but it's not a vB issue per say, since it's only affecting people using the Edge browser. I don't own anything Microsoft makes, so I can't even test your issue out unfortunately. Are you able to use a better browser like Safari or Chrome instead of Edge since they both seem to work?
