Your Porsche in Francorchamps F1 circuit
Hi gentlemen!
I'm a member of the Francorchamps Porsche club of Belgium. If you would like to drive your Porsche on the formula 1 Francorchamps race track, note these days in your agenda: 23-24-25 of april 2004.
More infos to come later. It will be the third edition. Entry in the paddocks is free for Porsche cars and pax. If you want to drive on the track: choose your class(discovery, experience, race) pay a fees and there you go!
This event was very succesfull the last years.

I'll keep you informed

Hello Toga,
Don't worry, this was already in my agenda. I think in all honesty that this is becoming the largest Porsche meeting in Europe.
Will there be another Parade this year ?
If you want to see my pics of this year :

Best wishes,
Rufie.

Hi john!
never did the Nürburgring? Then you really have to go for it. But if you can avoid the week-ends. They are too busy.
Let me know if you go. I have some friends who know the circuit by heart. They drive there for more than 20 years! But withBMW. One of them just bought the last M3CSL.
Cheers

Hmm... it's a rather long trip for me, but looking at the maps I guess it's definately possible... (about as far as the Nürburgring from where I live, and I've been there once already, heheh )
How's the hotel prices etc in Belgium? And more importantly, any ideas how much it's going to cost to actually drive on the track?? Being a poor student I can't afford everything

Hi gentlemen!
I'm waiting for more infos from the club secretary about prices etc...
sami951, I gonna read your 41 reasons to be in Finland! About the 42nd one I think she's hanging at your car door !!!
Ok more seriously about the days:
during the "days", the 3 different series will be authorized each at a time for 30 minutes on the track. And this for several time during each day. The first one starting at 09:00AM and closing at 06:00PM. The 3 series will be: Rockies; Experienced; Racing. Slicks tires are only authorized in the racing serie.
You can register for one two or three days. I don't have yet the different prices, but for the three days the price will be 700Euros. Believe me it's nothing compare to the pleasure and the time you'll spent on the track!
The paddocks entrance is free.
For lodging... Francorchamps is a small village with a few hotels. Spa, malmedy and stavelot are more important and only distant from a few Kms.
I'll look for some links on that matter and will post them later on.
Cheers

Thanks for the links & information!
Unfortunately it seems now that I'll be moving to a new apartment in march, meaning I can't make the trip... Oh well, maybe next year!
