Merry Christmas to the one that deleted my thread.
The one about the Flathead cylinder head. Was it really necessary to do this? After all, it's more relevant to cars than many of the other truly OT threads in this forum.

Are you sure it wasn't just moved ? That's unusual as they usually leave us alone on this forum as its all local stuff.
You are right as there is a ton of non Porsche stuff on this forum. But you do have a habit of pissing in mods cornflakes so i'm sure you were spreading more Christmas cheer.

maybe it was deleted because you are supposed to be a member when posting a wanted thread.
I had nothing to do with it of course.
Merry Christmas and I hope you get your head

In London, have to take the old one to match it up. Found a Canadian Flathead forum that discussed this and had the info to a speed shop that deals with odd stuff like this. So I called them and was told to bring the old one with me as they have several of them in the attic. Was going to update the thread so that in would be useful for others in the future but that can't happen now.

Picked up the head today, it was in excellent condition before it was lightly skimmed. It's an old school engine machine shop. If anyone in the future needs a with odd stuff like this, might want to contact them. https://www.bhpautomachine.com/
