Your one lucky guy that wasn't a mass pile up, you went right to corner exit, and he was PARKED there! 6800 RPM seems high but I don't remember where my limiter cuts in to be honest..

Good avoidance. I clenched my teeth watching the U turn though .. The flagger should probably have been signaling what to do (i.e. stay put, go, which way, etc.)

Don't see how that's great or fantastic, super lucky to not have killed someone.

Before anyone judges the u-turn too harshly perhaps he knew there was no one in back of him on that very long back straight and had the time to pull it off safely.

That was lucky and NOT a good move. You can always slow down and avoid cars by not sliding.. spinning is always a mistake. l taking off and getting right into the racing line was a little risky and lucky no one was coming

Very true and certainly possible. however, its nice to master the instant u turn (power 1/2 donut) so you can stay on the apex and whip the rear end around, then merge straight on with the flow of traffic.

Can't always pick your maneuvers Mark.. here is the end (for me) of the 2011 WGI Enduro, was in 1st at the time.

Quick lift and hard brake, he thanked me for not T-Boning him afterwards.

Is it possible the corner worker was pointing to go ahead at about 0:20 right after he takes his left hand off the headset? The camera doesn't capture everything.

whatever the maneuver, it always pays to stay in control. you did a great job of avoiding the car in front, but what most forget is that your car is always more maneuverable and can stop quicker by not sliding or spinning. it takes practice, no question. its not the reaction im commenting on, its how the type of reaction caused the result.

Corner worker is trying to call race control and wave flag at same time. Tough to do much more than that when solo station crew.

What exactly happened? Looked like you were on throttle balancing on the edge of grip but the 411 (red wheels) rotating in front of you made you back out of the throttle inducing your spin?

Somehow the red wheel SPB made it through?!?

Gent behind was not so lucky... dodged left and must have lost it straight to the wall.

Glad that ended well!
