My helmet is camo so no one can see my head. Unfortunately, I frequently lose it. The helmet, not my head.

I have used carbon fiber helmets ever since they came out due to
the lighter weight and superior strength vs conventional shells.
I had a couple of "nudes" I used for testing and practice and
they did heat up pretty good if I left them laying around in the
sun - also made them easier to put on. Keep in mind, this is on
a super bike, no roof. Once the helmets are painted (my paint
scheme incorporates mostly light colors), the toastiness from the
sun was no different than a conventional white helmet. Like many
others have said, with the thickness of the padding and a roof
over your head, you won't notice any difference even running
a nude. As someone who has "tested" the strength of a CF helmet
more than once, I would definitely recommend them.
