At the track. Either the inn or the garage suites. Or, if budget allows, a villa.

On property at the Lodge or Villas (which is probably sold out by now)?

If not, the larger chain hotels in Danville, Virginia or Roxboro, North Carolina.

You'll love the track. To make a reservation at the track, dial extension 101 from the main number.

I am at the Danville Sleep inn. 10-15 mins from the track. It was cheap.

1st choice: Paddock Rooms (waitlisted on 1 and 2)
2nd: Lodge
3rd: Sleep Inn Danville (reserved)

A villa seems like an ideal if you can find roommates to costshare.
I spoke with Dennis 3 weeks ago, all on-site bookings were full at that time.

not sure if it will be your first time driving through VA, but watch your speed in VA. I got a ticket going to VIR last year for doing 69mph in a 65mph zone.

It is my first time at VIR but I've driven through VA many times. A ticket for 69 in a 65?? That's just being a dink unless they had another reason to bother you.

If anyone is still looking for a place to stay, check out www.airbnb.com I found a room at a bed and breakfast for $85 a night, 5 miles from the track. There were a few others under $100 a night but a bit further away.

With 240 cars now registered, no wonder hotels are hard to come by.

Yes it is a crowded field at VIR in March but looking forward to it. A group of us from Metro NY are staying in Danville at a sleep Inn. Looks like Zone 2 has scheduled a great event.
