Does any know what top speed a 996 Cup will reach at Mid-Ohio?

Chris,

You could ask Dave S. at Wheel Source, he has an '00/'01 Cup. I believe he'll be there for the Mid-O race, are you going?

You might also be able to look at the '04 Runoff Results in the GT2 category, I believe they list trap speeds and I think a few Cup's ran this class last year.

Dave's 996 has the Motorsport Upgraded engine and short gears, probably not a good indicator.
I am going to guess it is right about 150mph. I think my mechanic said the GT3RS's were about 155-160.

Well, if a well driven Cup car gets to 145 or so, the GT3R should be about 153-155.
