Yes absolutely wait. If you dont cover will disclor and The heat coming up could heat up other parts of car in back that are set to be that hot. Just not worth risking.

I ll cover front leave back area open and come back and just pull it over.

Very awesome! Congrats on finally taking delivery. (Not sure how I missed the original posting of this thread.)

I'm curious what some of the custom options were. Any chance you could share some of those?

interior matte carbon fiber was a big chunk of that custom option

There is. But you'll never know of it since all of its members are innominate.

And if we were to tell you, then we would have to 'dispose' of you right after to insure the names in the registry remain, for lack of a better word, 'anonymous'!

But then, wise guy, you already knew this when you asked the question, right?

That's funny! No AC. Even the race car 911 RSR has AC now.

I think only the fan comes on automatically. If you turn off the AC while the car is running then when you restart the car then only the fan should come on. Just make sure to press the AC OFF button. Had the same thing with my car. However, there is no way to turn off the fan. Also, you can pick the temp that it will be on. So in the summer, turn AC OFF button and turn temp to lowest. When you start up only fan will come on at low temp. How this works for you.
