Since my GT3 is going to be a daily driver soon, I wanted to protect the exterior lower bolster sides of my CLUBSPORT seats so the leather doesn't get scratched up too much and worn/creased when getting in and out of the seat.

Found this RECARO seat side protector from RECARO JAPAN to extend the longevity of the seat a little.

Great product and didn't have to be BETSY ROSS and fabricate/sew my own side protection piece.

No affiliation to them, but got it from Aaron from gotuning.com.

They also carry RECARO JAPAN brackets/sliders for Porsche so if you ever get a Recaro seat from USA (SP-A, SP-G, Hans), and cant find brackets/sliders for your 911, then they have it for ya.

RX-7 club guys have been using them forever (the special editions came with kevlar recaro's since 1999, as did the NSX's and such).

These new ones though are very attractive. Excellent find.

I bought one for mine, the top velcros under the outside lip, and works ok. A bit of slipping after in's and out's. So watch the install and check it on a regular basis, for those that drive.
IMHO, over priced, but since there is not much else out there.

overpriced- agreed- Velcro under lip- Haven't driven with it yet. Cheap insurance- I had to switch my seats left to right due to wear over the years.

There is a cover now made for the 918, GT3, GT3 RS, and the GT4, LWBS bolsters, to protect them from getting nicked or scratched. It's actually hard to tell there is a cover on the outboard bolster...
