My Valentine One dislikes my Macan Turbo

@cviles: I made the change shown in your video clip, and I think it fixed the problem I've been having whenever I come up behind many newer Audi models. Just curious if there is a similar fix for avoiding alarms from building intrusion detection systems. Often when I drive into some malls with big box stores, my V-1 goes crazy. BTW, the update code on mine was 3726 I think.

PS: It's not really "my" video -- I just found it and posted a link.

Cayenne diesel loaner I had last summer did the same thing. Drove me nuts, but you could turn it off and the V1 would go silent. Luckily neither of my Audis has lane assist, but I'm going to turn off POP anyway as I've been ignoring most of the V1 warnings lately because it goes off so much.
Great tutorial cviles!

Great post and thank you. My V-1 is constantly set off by certain Audi's, BMW's, Infinity and MB's. I'll try this suggestion

Three Wheelin'
Valentine seems to have stopped developing the V1 - the basic design is what, 25 years old now?

I already had POP mode turned off on my 10 year old V1 and had no issues on the Macan with LCA.
Bought a new V1 last week and turned POP off (because of LCA) but occasionally the V1 gets hung-up on something coming from the rear. If I shut down the unit and restart, it clears it. At this point, I am going to return it, the V1 troubleshooting guide says it could be my satellite antenna or cell phone setting it off...serious?
Off to a Passport Max, I hope this solves my issue and I'm sure going to miss the arrows.

Instead of looking at the arrows to see if it's a false from the supermarket on the right, after the 3rd time you drive by that supermarket the MAX will chirp and then you'll never get a false there again. Just silence.
Just drove down to Pebble Beach for 2 weeks, about 600 miles. On the way, got several chirps (3rd time driving past the same false alarm) indicating it was saving those locations. Hadn't been in those spots for about a year, yet the MAX remembered and disabled those door opener falses for me. Impressive.

I'll bet you don't.
