I've had a deposit on a Macan S for a while now. I told the dealer very clearly that I wanted European Delivery when I placed the order. Euro Delivery is clearly shown as an option online.

Now my dealer is telling me that "the initial Macan allocations are not available for Euro Delivery". I'm not sure I buy this, and wonder if the dealer is being greedy here. I've heard that the dealer profit margin is lower on Euro Del cars, and since the initial supply of Macans is limited and they're selling at full price, the dealer probably prefers not to do Euro Del in order to maximize their profits. Has anyone talked to their dealers about European Delivery? Are you getting the same line from your dealer?

Also, according to the same dealer, the sale release date for the Macan is not until May 17th. Is that what you're hearing as well?

I've seen 2 others that have said they're taking their Euro del in May. May 17th is also the date I've read for the official US release.
