Throttle Response Delayed on Lift
Is this a feature or a bug? I notice that when I am at or near WOT, I lift on the accelerator and push clutch pedal in, and, for some reason, the RPMs "hang" there for a second or so before going down. It's like the computer is delaying my accelerator lift.

OK that is interesting. I really have not driven anything newer than 2004 car until my Cayman - maybe this is something everyone else has gotten used to.
Does everyone else let off the accelerator for a second before pushing the clutch at max acceleration? God, what a BAD BAD BAD design, having to do things "ahead of time". This is the first disappointing thing about the car - having to "delay" my clutch to accommodate for the very slow throttle response.

Whatever it is - it's definitely intentional by the ECU - happens very repeatably when I go from full to zero throttle input. Have not tried to see if sport/non-sport mode changes this, or if less than full throttle eliminates it.
Driving like I have always driven a stick, the revs race higher because it's as if I didn't lift before clutching even though I really did. I would definitely be hitting the rev limiter if I were really banging on it, which I'm not, but man what an annoyance. I am not very jazzed about having to wait .5 seconds between shifts to avoid the engine revving higher when trying to go fast.
