Post What kind of headers should I get?

I've been looking around at some headers that I want, and I was wondering about bang for my buck. Fabspeed catless headers are $2k and Schnell catless headers are $800. What would I get for that extra $1200? Thanks for the help guys

I saw the Schnell headers for $1050. Where did you see them for $800?

Is there no sound difference at all under 4K? What about at Idle? TIA

very little sound difference under 4k. no sound difference at idle

your exhaust choice will play a part in the sound as well, i have a agency power exhaust which i would call a "gentleman's exhaust"

oh ok. well i have borla on mine, and i was just wondering if there was a justification for paying more than twice as much for the fabspeed over the schnell headers. do you think it's worth it?

I will chime in, if I may. Without going into a sales pitch (the exhaust speaks for itself) A lot of the value of Fabspeed comes after you purchase. You need to speak to me about ANYTHING on your car? No problem, call and speak to me directly about those questions that you run into dead ends with. If I don't have the answer, I will find it. The value is in how the follow up progresses after your initial order.

that's fair, i do always love having great follow up and customer service after I buy a product. But I was just wondering what the physical differences are between the Fabspeed headers and the Schnell headers

I have Schnell headers on my car and no particular problems other than you can hear some lifter noise. I checked with several people and drag racers, who are familiar with headers, told me that was not at all unusual. Any comments from out there?
The performance improvements were significant.

Evan,

Then why won't you address the problem I am having with my failed Fabspeed cats? You, Joe, and Alex all PROMISED, right here, in writing, that you would replace my cats. But, now you guys are refusing to honor your warranty.

In case your memory needs refreshing, here is a link.

https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...nt-thread.html

I have been very professional, factual, and courteous in my thread, but I think it only fair for other RL members to clearly see what type of service to expect. After all, Joe even said, this is how all Fabspeed customers are treated.

Sincerely,
Mike

Check out the FVD Brombacher Headers / Exhaust system. Speak to Rhonda High quality systems. I am running Milltek headers with FVD Brombacher sound version exhaust. Great setup !
