One of the Porsche mags just had an article that touched that...basically it seems PCCB are great for road driving, but not the best for track use. The mag did also remind us that the PCCB on the Boxster S are "version 5", so I'm sure there have been improvements since the first ones came out.

This is a good point. I still bet the replacement cost is incredible. The last I saw the replacement rotors cost more than the option.

I assume that is with no track use. There are some GT3 owners who replaced the PCCB's with steel rotors!!!! Can you imagine paying the money for the option then basically chucking them?

Correct. Remember, even with the GT3, Porsche's official stance is these cars are not made for track use.

The rear is not the best thing about the Cayman. It looks like something is missing. Too bad they could not incorporate a better spoiler in the rear instead of the wimpy Boxster spoiler.

Look, you'll just have to wait a few months and then see for yourself. You may like it, you may love it, or you may be indifferent. Personally, I loved it, and I especially loved the rear of the car. The front is very much like other Porsches, and the side silhouette is nice too, but the rear is very unique.

The spy shots are pretty close, but I can't remember exactly how different they are. As for the vents, I wasn't really crazy about them either, but from what I gathered, they are actually pretty functional and necessary. I wish they were more 'turbo' style vents.
