Rubber Door, Window, and Roof Seals Treatment
The sunroof on my 2006 squeaks and I think it's coming from the rubber seals. They should need to be conditioned along with the other rubber seals.
The question is should I use a conditioner with a silicone or glycerin content? I'm looking at the EINSZETT GUMMI PFLEGE Rubber Conditioner or WURTH Rubber care.
Thanks

Use Dow Corning Molycote 101. It simply is the best for this application. Clear, odor free, and it lasts a long time. Thanks to another Rennlister who recommended it to me a couple of months ago.

If you put Dow Corning 101 on door seals won't they be tacky if a passenger brushes against them. The Amazon reviews said it was really thick stuff. Do you just kinda burnish a really thin coat on?
