Default Mystery coolant leak

Hi All,

I have a leak somewhere but can't seem to find the source. It drips a lot from the front passenger side. I changed the water pump and hoses; and climbed all under the darn thing with a flash light but can't see where the water is coming from...

When the coolant expansion tank leaks where does it usually drip from? Are radiator leaks common?

Thank you,
jjennings089

The tank will leak near the bottom where you can't see it until the tank is removed. The sign is usually a white residue on the chassis below the top of the shock tower, from the coolant running down towards the passenger side exhaust manifold.

The tank is only about $80 and easy to swap out. Save yourself the headache. Buy some Porsche coolant and the expansion tank and replace it before you discover where the leak is when it really goes.
