Cayenne 958 V6 Muffler Delete thoughts?
Hey guys, I have a 2014 Base Cayenne V6 (958) that has like every option except for the exhaust system. I really need more sound, but I can't really afford a whole new exhaust system. I was thinking of doing a muffler delete because it is the easiest and least expensive thing to do. In addition, it'll remove a lot of weight from the rear and increase some ground clearance (because the muffler hangs down a lot). What are your guys' thoughts on this. I don't really mind droning (plus the cayenne is pretty well insulated & I have the noise & thermally insulated glass too). I think it's a pretty good idea to bring out the V6 sound. Are there any downsides to doing a muffler delete? Thanks!!

Turbo cars can usally get away with that because the Turbos do a good job of reducing the noice. You would be better off moding your muffler for a low cost sound change.
