Have any of you had issues with your Cayenne S, Turbo, or GTS with the intakes becoming clogged with carbon deposits? Did you find it made a difference once cleaned out to the throttle response and overall pep from the engine? I am finding our GTS feels really sluggish, slow to kick down a gear, throttle response is pretty slow as well. I have a feeling this could be part of it, but could it be anything else?

Sounds more like the adaptive e-gas system has learned your driving style. Drive it like you stole it for 30 minutes

Carl, is the sluggish performance present in sport mode as well?

Yeah even in sport mode, I do notice a big improvement when the traction control/stability control is turned off, I suspect its a further mode of throttle linearity, but accelerating away from 30mph still feels sluggish unless I floor it.

The clue is it feels different with the stability control switched off. That ignores the learned driving pattern. To reset the pattern - as someone said - drive it for an hour with vigor.. (it's a dirty job but someone's gotta do it.)
