Default Help With Water Drip 2005 CTT

Hi all

Drove away from my parents house this evening and noticed a wet patch on their driveway that was caused by a drip on my passenger side around the front wheel area, just unbound of the suspension arm but I cant see what has split / come loose without stripping it back a bit and its nearly 20.30 pm and Ive been on the go since 06.30 so am really hopeful somebody can pin point it from past experience?

It seems to be water, no smell or colour to it to suggest coolant or screen wash, just odorless clear water like drips, rate is about one drip from one spot and one drip from another every 20 seconds or so.

My car is a 2005 CTT, its RHD as its a United Kingdom car and the location is in board of the passenger side front wheel, hopefully the pictures can show it clearly?

Is this just the refrigerant from the A/C and its probable that I have an A/C pipe failure or is it some worse / more costly?

Thanks

Carl

It's odd to see condensate dripping from the left-side for a change. If I wasn't made aware of the fact that the car was a RHD, I'd swear that the posted image was reversed.

Yea, confusing but being a RHD I would bet that you had the system on or previously in Auto and the A/C compressor would be running and with it getting warmer and more humid out (even in the UK) that it was just water condensation dripping from the drain line from the A/C evaporator. Run it it Econ and see if it disappears after your next stop, if so it was just the A/C system operating as normal.
P.S. It will continue to drip for a while after shutting the engine off.

Thanks guys will keep an eye on it over the next few days. A/C is always on and it has been the hottest days of the year so far over the past few days, it was a fair bit that's all, possibly exaggerated because my parents driveway is on a slope

I want additional details from 996FLT6, if it involves more pics.
