Default IPOD Adapter For 2006 Cayenne TTS

Hi Everyone,

Brand new here. I'm a three time Cayenne owner, S, then Turbo, then Turbo S. I love my current Cayenne, amazing machine. I'm sick to death of CD's and I listen to more music in this car than anywhere else. I have an IPOD. without the adapter in the Cayenne, I'll never get around to really using it. My car is fully optioned with the top sound system and navigation. What exactly do I want to buy to fix this problem in my life?

Thanks...

Bob

Thanks. Bookmarked. Need to try to find a local integrator. If anyone knows an install shop in the D.C. Metro area other than Hurleys, I'd be interested in recommendations. Thanks again.

Isn't that just an FM/RF-modulator thingie? Sort of expensive for that technology (and audio quality.)

No, the OEM piece is hardwired in to the PCM.

You can get it through your local dealer, or order it through that link.

I had the NAV-TV OPi-P iPod interface installed in my wife's 2006 Cayenne S. Worked great.

Looks like that unit renders the factory changer unusable.

From your original post, I didn't think the CD changer mattered! Got to make a choice.

Good point, but I'm still using nothing but CD's right now, 45 year old dinosaur that I am. I wouldn't mind having it working while I get used to the IPOD. The Denison is also $100 cheaper.
