Sorry about having to cancel yesterday at the last minute for rain, I thought we would just have clouds. I was in the garage getting the car ready to take out to go to C&C when the clouds turned dark and it started pouring! Anyway, we will be meeting this Sunday September 27th!
I heard 4 people still showed up, so David, Steve (930) and anyone else that showed all deserve honorable mentions for braving the rain. I had several people text me to inquire if we were meeting and I texted those who's cell #s I have. If you want me to be able to text about cancellations or your want to text to ask me about possible last minute cancellations, pleased send me a PM or email with your name and cell and I will gladly provide mine to you.

We had a really nice turn out yesterday. Lots of our "Usual suspects" (Dan, Frank, Hans (987.2 Cayman), Steve (986), Michael (991 TTS), Mike (986), Kenny, Ken (EType), Bill, and Ed attended along with some of our newer regulars Hans (air cooled 911), Ron & Stephanie, Shamous, Steve (Corvair) and George (Corvette). I am not sure if we will get in another meet before the very end of the season as we have a group drive happening in October. However, if the weather cooperates and we can get in another meet I will let you know.
We will NOT be meeting on Columbus Day Weekend. Below are a few highlights from yesterday.

This last photo was of a Cayman S that Jill and I passed on the highway on our way home. Its not everyday you get to travel in a fun car and see what it looks like in motion!
What a great day going for our end of the season fun run with the "Taunton Crew." Had a blast driving the back roads of southern MA and RI and then grabbing lunch. As always it was great catching up with so many of our friends. So glad that Michael, Susan, Mike & Lorie, Hans & Barbara, Hans J., Dan, Bob, Kenny, Steve, Bill & Gail, Ray & his wife, Ed, Jim, Elizabeth, Tom T & Gerry, Mike and Annie all joined us for a wonderful drive. We are just starting to get feedback and it sounds like everyone had a great time. A special thanks to Bill and Gail for working on the Route and for the special parking arrangements. Catch up with you guys soon.

This coming Sunday, Nov 1st, will be our final meet for the season. I look forward to catching up with those of you who aren't too hungover from Halloween parties. So while the roads are still clear of sand, salt, and other natural enemies of beautiful cars, I encourage you to make the most of the driving season, and join us for our last meet of 2015. To those who can't make it, I look forward to seeing you guys in 2016 if not sooner!
Even with iffy weather to start the day, it was a nice turn out for our last meet of the season. It was great catching up with many of our regulars and also meeting several new attendees, John (Boxster), Dave (928GT), Bill Mc (Boxster), Mark (GT4), and the silver 996TT owner (sorry name escapes me at the moment). Martin, thanks for posting some fantastic photos! I'll try to post a few of my photos soon, although definitely not as good as yours.
Thanks to everyone for making it a great season! I look forward to seeing you all again in the spring.
