Default Deletion of model designation

Does anyone Spec this? Let's see some photos!
Do they move the "PORSCHE" logo lower after the "GT4" is removed or does the "PORSCHE" stay at the same location?

Thanks in advance!

Looks so much better. Thanks Pete. Do you know if they move the "PORSCHE" lower compare to no model deletion?

Judging by the 3D configurator, yes they do move it down.

Too bad that they don't give you the option to have just "GT4" on the back, like the 996 GT3.

But if you simply remove the "P O R S C H E" yourself doesn't that leave "GT4" in the right spot?

Probably is does. Would be nice to be able to order it that way. I might be willing to give up leather-covered vents in exchange!

I've seen someone who did that. Anyone got photos?

A bit off-topic, but I've always wondered how clear bra installation shops that do full coverage replace the badging in exactly the right place, especially the Porsche badge that's all individual letters. I believe the spacing and alignment of the badge in and of itself is already handled because the whole thing arrives on a single piece of adhesive in the proper arrangement, but I've never figured out how the shops place the badge back at the exactly correct coordinates on the bumper. You wouldn't be able to mark the bumper prior to removing the badge because you'd have to remove that mark before putting the clear bra on. Just to satisfy my curiosity, does anyone know?

They do not remove the letterings. They cut a big rectangular hole to accommodate, I saw a GT4 with a full xpel wrap last weekend.

Is that true of all installers? I saw the Glistening Perfection GT3 full wrap and it didn't look like they cut around any badges, and when my friend got his R8 done they removed the Audi badge on the frunk, though granted that's probably a lot easier to put back.

Just reporting what I saw.
I had 2 lotus' before and when you order the "L O T U S" rear badge, they provide a stencil for you. Not sure if Porsche does the same.

Most exterior badges are OEM installed with something like double stick VHB tape.
Same for the GT4? Someone want to run dental floss below one to test it?
