AC Leak - Solutions?
#17
Yann, for a DIY you did a pretty good job overall.
You don't have to go to a 'dealer' to recover the refrigerant, install a new drier, evacuate, charge, test and sniff for leaks. Most repair shops that have their own AC equipment can handle your model.

OK, I did it.
Then, I bought a new drier at O Reilly, changed it. Easy to do.
Then I found pump and air conditioning system evacuation at AutoZone (loan tools :-).
Follow steps to properly extract air from the a/c system. No leak. (no pressure lost)
And charge and test. No leak. Fresh air! everything is working.
I hope that it will last long now, as I did right! I guess :-)
Thank you guys for your help.
