No knowledge of the car.
A google search using the VIN has the car a 2001 S with a black exterior and I believe a Tip transmission.
Been for sale at least since mid August.
Unless you can find someone who knows of the car and his knowledge is current your friend will have to go kick the tires and light the fires (inspect the car and have a test ride/drive).
