2001 Boxster cooling hose diagram?
Doesn anybody have a diagram of the cooling hoses for a 20001 base Boxster with the part numbers clearly indicated? I've checked many online sources but can't find one that has the part numbers. I'm replacing the water pump and thought I should replace all the cooling hoses as well being the car is thirteen years old. I did this on my 99 996 and sleep much better at night.

Explored replacing the hoses on my 02 Boxster back at around 240K miles when the coolant tank needed replacing and the tech talked me out of it. Said the hoses are quite long lived. Besides, he said it was rather expensive. There are a lot of hoses and they are not cheap.
So my 2002 base Boxster with over 280K miles on it still has its original hoses. Whenever I'm under the car I give the hoses a check/squeeze looking for soft spots which is generally how a bad hose makes itself known before it leaks/lets go but so far I have not found any hose needed replacement.
Oh, and I sleep just fine.
But if you want to replace the hoses Pelican Parts might have a drawing of the cooling system with all the hoses and reference numbers that map to part numbers.

ECS Tuning has most of the genuine Porsche hoses for sale at a discount on their website. You need the PET to identify numbers....different hoses for MT vs. Tip. etc. Nobody has anything nice to say about the URO brand hoses.
