Johnny DB, I'll probably do that in the spring as she's all tucked in for another Alberta winter.

I'm new to all this....so it's basically a plug and play unit as I understand? What's involved in the install process? How safe is it on these cars?

Call Kevin at UMW, he will provide all of the details. In a nutshell -- he sends you a datalogger to datalog your car then he customizes a tune for your car based upon a variety of factors. You install the tune via the datalogger which plugs into your obd2 port.

Alex, I have a plug and play option. The more popular option is to download the ECU file and datalogging thru a computer to email me the data. Again, it's either or a combination of both.

Psup4s, Ultimate Motorwerks tuning will deliver more torque at lower RPM's thru the RPM band. You will be able to stay in a higher gear and not have to downshift. Typical power gains will vary between 50HP and 65HP depending on fuel octane, exhaust and location (ambient temps) I tune conservatively based on the logs that you provide me. If you look at Saabin's threads on Rennlist you can see is data and dyno sheets as he upgraded his car in real time. Others have posted there results..

Get the tune ! whatever you pay it will be worth it ! ive had several tunes from others and there is not a single one of them I have dealt with that will go to the lengths that Kevin will to make sure you have the best tune for your specific car.
