The 66 vs 67 C2 comparison was based solely on performance, and to this end I've never heard anyone say the latter car was a better performer. In other cars, when performance and even appearance remains constant over time the last year commands a premium (Austin Healey 3000, BMW Z8 etc). Time will tell with the 997 tt too, and for me there is no bad year to own including the last year, 2013.
