My take away from reading this thread has been that many of you 997TT owners are looking for the more "luxury" features in their cars. I did the same in '06 when I ordered my '07TT. So it makes me think that PAG has gotten it right with the 991 offering lots and lots of goodies and techno-whiz options to pick from.

(But they still completely completely missed the boat with not offering the manual transmission as an option)

That's actually a good observation. I also see performance related items too though. I think things like brakes, more sport suspension options, and exhaust being something that many would want as well.

If I didn't already have PCCB, that would be on my list. I would LOVE a factory sport exhaust option. I drove a normally aspirated 991 C4S cabriolet for a week in September and the sound of the factory PSE was intoxicating.
