Yes, because it has that air filled rubber lip hose thingy.

What Terry said. Also, both are at stock ride height.

I personally favor the looks of the 997 TTS over the 991 TTS, especially the Cabriolet. On the 991 TTS Cab, the rear sheet metal edge exposed with the top down looks unfinished with an unsightly gap between it and the housing that conceals the top.

Subtle appearance changes between the two...but I know lots of changes below the skin.
(thanks for posting)

No problem.

Honestly, I can't see trading mine in on top of paying an extra $100K...

Gotta love the 997, timeless and just perfect stance. 991 is so wide it's awkward.

I think the 991T looks a little better, especially the front end. But the side vents suck.

997 looks way better. I really don't like how bloated the 991 is.

i am a sucker for the short wheel base 997 but the 991 still looks great.

By the way, that mezger with PCCB is a nice example of 997TT!!

Wow, seeing them moving I like the 997, especially the side view. I think the 997 is the perfect size and looks like a new "classic".

Don't plan on selling mine anytime soon.
