Anyone planning to run COTA on March 3/4/5?
Any of you guys thinking about running COTA on March 3/4/5? It's the PCA Club race / advanced DE. Should be 12x30 minute sessions. We have a couple of us that are planning on making the trip. I've never run COTA but it's something I'd like to check off the list. Here is the info:
Club Race Chairs Jim Garrett and Tuffy von Briesen are working to make this year’s Club Race and DE the best ever. Our focus is on the drivers having the best experience possible. This is one of the few chances to drive America’s premier F1 track, and the conditions this time of year should be great. If you have any questions or need additional information please contact us at ClubRace@hcrpca.org Registration for the Advanced solo-only DE opens on 01/23/17 12:00 PM (Central Time Zone) For more information on the DE, go to www.clubregistration.net
If anyone is going and would like to split a garage with us, let me know. The garages are $1500 for the weekend and should comfortably fit 5 cars.

I will be there in my M3. Amazing COTA value.

My last few cota outings I have skipped the garage. How many cars can fit in the garage? The garages are cool, and great if weather is bad, but the expense is relatively high and with 6 cars all in the same DE group it can get a little hectic for my taste. I am open to it if we can get 6 guys to pitch in.

6 in a garage is easily accommodated. Done it several times. Only time it's a pain is if you mix run groups and get parked in when you're on the middle row.

Garages are meant for 4. You can stuff 5-6 but will be crowded with cars hanging out into the paddock lane plus constant shuffling. Some garages are larger than others as well.

Count me in for a garage. I'd recommend split in 4 or 5. six is a stretch, 4 is perfect.
As said above, it depends on the garage too...
I just signed up.
